Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between property management and facilities management?

Property management looks after the building as an asset, including inspections, rent collection, service charges and reporting to the owner. Facilities management keeps its systems and services working day to day. Homoon FM provides both.

Do you collect rent?

Yes. We collect rent on the owner's behalf and hold it in a designated client account. We do not provide lettings or tenancy management.

What does your service charge work include?

Preparing the service charge budget, apportioning costs between occupiers and completing the year-end audit.

How long does onboarding take?

At least two weeks, depending on the building and the information available from the previous manager.

How are your fees structured?

We offer either a percentage of rent or a fixed fee, depending on what suits the property and the owner.
